My Mum was really interested to find out if her Grandfather was related to a famous artist in the Derbyshire area, so I contacted Amy. She was enthusiastic and professional in her approach and was able to trace both the descendants of the artist and the ancestors of Mum’s Grandfather to show that there was no link between the families. My Mum was thrilled to finally have an answer to a question she’d been wondering about for years, and loved the thorough report that Amy produced about her family. I would highly recommend.

I was beyond delighted with the 2 projects I commissioned Amy at Blue Eagle to do. One was a conventional family tree for a gift for my Dad. He loved it! The second family tree  however was a gift to myself – I wanted to trace my specific female ancestry. I was blown away by the results… the genealogy trail would have gone cold if Amy had not been excited and persistent on my behalf – and looked beyond the usual male- line name methodology. As a result I have identified my female ancestors back to the 1600s. I was astonished, brought to tears, monumentally impressed and grateful to have the opportunity to know and acknowledge my female predecessors. I recommend Amy widely as a result of course!
